Easter Dress Guide
With Easter being less than a week away, I wanted to share some of my favorite dresses to wear for your family gatherings! I have many memories of my mom and I wearing matching dresses to church on Easter (when I was younger) and I loved getting dressed up for this special day. Easter holds many traditions for me besides getting dressed up, like going on Easter egg hunts in the backyard (my dad always has the best hiding spots!) and making Eggs Benedict for brunch at home! But I will say that picking out a new dress/outfit for Easter service is something I look forward to each year. Even though the first day of Spring falls before Easter, I’ve always felt that Easter truly marks the beginning of the new season with Jesus’ resurrection bringing new life and hope to the whole world!
That being said, I love looking for dresses that are full of fun floral prints and bursting with color. Thankfully the weather is warm this time of year, so it’s a great opportunity to wear sleeveless styles or dresses that are made of lightweight materials such as linen or a flowy silk.
