Summer Basics: A White Tank + Denim Shorts

Cheers to a new week! 🎉 It’s actually a short week for me which I’m so excited about, considering it was just Memorial Day Weekend not too long ago. Zillow is giving us Friday off in observation of Juneteenth on Saturday which is something they just started doing last year and I think it’s really cool! I’m looking forward to a restful day and to dive into one of my new books, Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents. It’s been on my TBR pile since last year but I’m excited to finally start reading it 🖤 Another reason I’m excited for this weekend is one of Freddy’s good friends is coming into town to visit, and we haven’t seen him in over a year! 2021 is shaping up to be a great year so far thanks to reuniting with friends we haven’t seen in awhile 🤗 and summer is just getting started!

Speaking of summer, this is the uniform I’ll be wearing 24/7:  a tank, shorts, and sandals! 🤍 This tank top is actually a bodysuit which makes it even better 👏🏻 And these shorts I’ve had since last year but they continue to be one of my favorites….did I mention I only own 2 pairs of shorts? 😂 I’m trying to fix that & considering I live in a desert you’d think I’d have more 🤪 I’m also obsessed with straw accessories during the summer so this hat and this bag you’ll find me wearing on repeat!
