Classic & Timeless Pieces

I've always been a fan of timeless pieces that create an interchangeable wardrobe capsule. It's these items that offer so much versatility when creating outfits, it makes for endless options when putting together a look. I love investing in classic pieces in my wardrobe that never go out of style, and I'm excited to share some of my favorites with you!

I believe every woman could use a black blazer in her closet. You may think it's strictly for the office, but I've found that it's a key layering piece to any look and it instantly pulls an outfit together. Whether you're pairing it with a flowy dress, a pair of distressed denim, or a skirt like in these pictures, you can truly transform any look with this staple piece.

There are quite a few different styles of blazers, such as something more tailored, like this one by J. Crew, or perhaps something less structured and slightly boxy, like this elegant Rag & Bone option. A cropped blazer is also a nice option if you're wearing a pant or skirt that's high-waisted, or a fit and flare dress where you want to show off the waistline. Depending on the occasion or look you're going for, there's sure to be a blazer that fits your style and budget.

I never used to like wearing turtlenecks growing up, but now I've become so fond of them and I find them to be such a sleek layering piece during the fall and winter seasons. Now that the weather is finally starting to cool down, I love wearing them any chance I get. This one from J. Crew is so lightweight and perfect for layering underneath sweaters, too. The stripes made it a double win in my book; it was too cute to pass up! I'm considering stocking up on different colors too since it's just so comfy!

A fitted skirt is another staple that I love having in my wardrobe. You can never really have too many color choices, but being the neutrals lover that I am, I love this white, Akris Punto one so much (currently on sale here!). The pencil skirt is a classic item that you can wear so many different ways, maybe with a denim jacket and some wedges for a casual look, or with a chic, button-up blouse and some pumps for a more refined look. It's fun to play around with different ideas until you find the one that suits your personality and style!

What are some of your favorite, classic pieces in your closet? Let me know in the comments below! Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a fabulous Monday!

Blushfully,

Belle
