Desk Decor

There are a few things I've come to love having at my workspace, which help me feel more productive and inspired, and help me to be more efficient! Starting with my desk that I purchased at Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market in Scottsdale, AZ. If you're local to the Phoenix area, you should definitely check out their market if you haven't already. It's held bi-annually and is filled with so many vendors selling all things vintage, rustic, and handmade--it's every vintage-lovers dream! I've had this desk for almost 5 years and I love the slightly chippy robin's egg blue color and glass knobs. It's the perfect size for our current space, which is in our bedroom.

As a self-professed Disney nerd, I can't help but keep a few Tsum Tsums nearby to encourage me to "just keep working". Although, this Peter Pan collection has me dreaming of Neverland and makes me want to sail away and never grow up! I also love decorative frames, this one being a gift from a friend with a photo of our day at Universal Studios.

Keeping my pens, papers and supplies organized is key to a functional workspace as well. I can always count on The Container Store to have pretty yet practical caddies that keep everything in their place. I picked up these pastel paper clips at Target in the dollar section; I love the fun cork top container they come in, and they make for a fun decor element.

My absolute favorite stapler features my pal, Mickey! I found it at Disneyland many years ago, and I was drawn to Mickey's classic, black & white design. He's got a positive, can-do attitude and is ready to tackle all of my stapling needs :)

I always love having a notebook handy to jot down ideas or sketch something out. One of my favorite pens to write with are Sharpie pens because they are so smooth and come in fun colors!

If there is a yummy scented candle burning while I'm working, then I'm always bound to be more productive! I don't know why, but something about it is comforting, and it inspires me to finish the task at hand. This one I recently picked up at Noon in San Diego, and they come in so many amazing scents, but Freddy and I both agreed on Fig and Lilac.

Well, there you have it, a mini tour of my work space! I can't wait to have my own home office one day, and fill it with artwork, books, and gorgeous furniture. Until then, I'm enjoying my handmade desk and all the fun work I get to do here!

Do you have some favorite things you keep at your workspace? I'd love to hear in the comments!

Blushfully,

Belle
