Speak Now Taylor's Version "Mine" Outfit

We are one week away from the Speak Now TV release and I am FREAKING out!! đ This is hands-down my favorite Taylor Swift album and I have so many special memories tied to it. This album came out during my first year of college soon after I started attending FIDM in LA. It was my first time being âon my ownâ away from home, not knowing anyone, and the city was so massive - I felt homesick especially during the first few months, but when this album came out it was like I had my friend Taylor with me and I didnât feel so alone. Iâm so excited for this re-recorded album and to relive the excitement I felt when the album first came out in 2010, but Iâm especially stoked for the vault tracks! Fall Out Boy AND Hayley Williams?! It really doesnât get better than that đ€© To celebrate the highly anticipated 7/7 launch date, Iâve put together a few summer outfits that capture the Speak Now vibe (which you can also wear to the Eras Tour!), and Iâm kicking things off with Track 1âŠâMineâ đ€
For this outfit, I was inspired by the single album cover with Taylor wearing a cute white summer dress. Since Speak Now was still in the midst of Taylorâs country music era I wanted to keep that theme going in this outfit, so I opted for a boho-inspired dress, a cropped denim jacket, and these fabulous rhinestone boots! I was instantly drawn to this dress the moment I saw it. I love the unique details, such as the delicate eyelet lace, ruffle hem, and cutouts at the waistline. Phoenix is absolutely scorching during the summer, so I've always looked for ways to beat the heat while still being stylish, and this dress strikes the perfect balance! The eyelet lace adds a touch of femininity, while the ruffle hem adds a playful flounce. But what really caught my attention are the strategically placed cutouts at the waistline, allowing me to show a little extra skin without compromising on elegance đ
Can we also talk about these boots for a second?! Iâve had my eye on them since Taylorâs Nashville shows. I saw some girls wearing sparkly boots to the Eras Tour and I thought they were so fun because they also match her sparkly boots that she wears on stage! I had absolutely no reason to buy these boots other than that I thought they were adorable, but when they were on sale for MDW I couldnât resist and decided to pull the trigger. I have zero regrets! I knew they would be so great for my SNTV inspired outfits, and whenever I find myself in Nashville you know Iâll definitely be bringing these.
Okay back to the albumâŠI have to know what your favorite songs are! My top 3 (if I had to narrow it down) are Enchanted, Sparks Fly, and Long Live. Iâm so curious to see if she adds more songs to the Speak Now setlist for the remaining showsâŠI guess Iâll have to tune into TikTok to find out!
