Cropped Free People Sweater

Welcome to my first blog post of 2021! I still find myself referencing 2020 as “this year” so I clearly haven’t fully embraced the new year just yet, but don’t worry I’ll get the hang of it soon. I hope you all had an amazing holiday! Freddy and I had the last 5 days off and it was so nice to have some down time at home and relax as we rang in the new year. I’m a little bummed though because I was supposed to go to Zion for my bestie’s 30th birthday the day before NYE and I ended up getting pretty sick that morning 😞 I’m all better now, but it sadly meant cancelling our trip! I’m hoping we can reschedule within the next couple of months so we can go be out in nature and enjoy some beautiful views! 🏔

It’s been pretty chilly here this past week and I’ve been taking full advantage of wearing my beanie before I can’t anymore. I’m also taking full advantage of this adorable cropped sweater that Freddy gave to me for Christmas 😍 🎄He totally gets my style and I love it when he picks clothes out for me! He always does such a good job and it makes me love wearing those clothes even more knowing he bought them with me in mind. I’m normally not one to wear yellow because I don’t think I can wear it well (although I wish I could b/c it’s my homegirl Belle’s signature color 💛🥀), but I love that there are pops of yellow throughout the motif. It’s just the right amount of a bright, cheerful color to compliment the neutral palette.

I love the fresh start a new year brings and I’m so excited to start planning blog content for 2021! I want to bring some more beauty posts to the blog this year, including my skincare routines and new products I’m trying and loving. Is there anything you’d like to see more/less of?
