Just like that we made it back to Friday! I’m so excited for this weekend and that we’ll be able to spend time with my mom for Easter! We didn’t get together for Easter last year due to the pandemic and not wanting to risk anything. I also wanted to say how appreciative I am of your love and support on Monday’s blog post about failure and comparison. It isn’t always easy opening up and being vulnerable on the internet, but it was such a great reminder of how we can be there for one another to offer advice and encouragement. So many of your comments and responses brought me to tears in the best way and I’m so grateful for this community!

Last month when I was getting inspired for spring and all of the fun clothing that come along with it, I discovered a new online retailer called Few Moda and they have really cool concept. When you become a member, you can buy fashion at cost, which takes out all of the crazy prices increases that you find at normal retailers. They have essentially taken out the middle man and you can buy directly from the brand! It’s a really neat concept that I haven’t seen implemented anywhere else, and when I discovered that they sell one of my favorite brands, o.p.t., I got even more excited! This tiered midi dress stood out to me as a unique piece to kick off the spring season.

Neutrals are 100% in my comfort zone but I wanted to branch out a little and go for something really fun! I find myself sticking to things that I’m used to in other scenarios too, like when we order food from a restaurant, I almost always get something I’ve had before. On the rare occasions when I try something new, I’m pretty much always pleasantly surprised and have discovered a new meal I love! That’s basically how I feel about this dress - I was hesitant at first because it’s pretty “out there” for me, but now that I’ve worn it I’m embracing the bold colors and loving it 😍 Do you like to step outside your comfort zone? Or do you prefer to stick to things you know and love? Let me know in the comments! Have a great weekend friends 🤗
