A Parisian Inspired Fall Blazer Outfit

Hello December! 🎄This might be in my top 5 favorite outfits from 2023 🤗🖤✨ In a recent blog post I talked about how my style has evolved a lot over the last decade and that during my 20’s I experimented and played around with lots of different styles/trends. While I had so much fun doing that, now that I’m 32, I’m ready to refine my style and invest in classic, neutral wardrobe staples which is ultimately what I gravitate toward the most! I recently went on an online shopping journey looking for some neutral fall pieces that would round out some gaps I had in my wardrobe but also be timeless items that I could wear for years to come. One of the first pieces I found was this brown houndstooth blazer from Mango and I immediately fell in love!

Mango is a new-to-me brand that I’ve been loving and have found some really great pieces there, but my friend recently educated me that they’ve been around for awhile! She said they went through a rebrand and have changed their aesthetic a bit, so it made more sense why I wasn’t familiar with them until this year lol. They’re vibe feels pretty similar to Zara and their price points are very reasonable in my opinion!

I was specifically on the hunt for a classic blazer in a neutral color but I wasn’t totally set on getting black. I was looking at some brown and cream tones, and then when I stumbled on this plaid option I knew it was a winner! It was giving me Blaire Waldorf vibes which I’m all for 😍 The print and silhouette are so timeless and I know I’ll be able to style it so many ways for years to come! I wanted my first outfit styling it to be with this mini skirt, sheer black tights, and my new Prada bag that I bought in Florence! This outfit screams “Parisian Chic” to me and makes me want to hop on the next flight to Paris.

This blazer is one of the key pieces in my new capsule wardrobe and I can’t wait to keep styling it in a variety of ways, especially with jeans! I also need to give a shoutout to my new Prada bag for being the catalyst of this new fashion journey I’m on. It might sound silly but it truly inspired me to be more thoughtful about my purchases and to not chase after trends on a whim. This outfit genuinely feels like me and I feel so confident in it! Check out my latest YT vlog where I show you more of the wardrobe staples I recently bought 🖤 xoxo
