The On-Trend Boots You Need This Fall

There’s nothing quite like a gorgeous pair of boots to instantly take your fall wardrobe to a whole new level. Over the years I’ve found quite a few pairs of boots that I absolutely love, but I don’t recall ever loving a pair as much as these Marc Fisher shearling boots 😍 And I know I’m not the only one who thinks so according to the almost 200 5-star reviews on Nordstrom.com! (Speaking of reviews, these faux leather leggings def live up to the 3,000+ 5-star reviews! 🌟 I’ll dedicate another blog post to these in the coming weeks, but highly recommend as a fall wardrobe staple!) Grab your favorite beverage and settle in for a quick story because I have to tell you the tale about how I scored these boots on a great discount!

I saw them for the first time on Pinterest a few years back thanks to all the bloggers who were wearing them. After seeing multiple posts on Pinterest and Instagram featuring these boots I was like “omg I NEED them!” I found them at Nordstrom shortly after that and literally began stalking them online, but every time I had checked the site my size was sold out. Of course every time I looked it was around the holidays when it’s prime boot season which is also when stock runs low. By the time they restocked them in January/February, it just didn’t make sense to buy them knowing I wouldn’t really be wearing them for 8 more months. Plus, given the price tag of $260, I’m not just going to splurge on them out of the blue - I want to budget for it. This was the cycle I found myself in year after year pinning after these boots. But then, something magical happened last month! I got a notification on my phone that one of my wishlist items got marked down, and sure enough, it was THE BOOTS! 👏🏻 I’ve never added anything to my cart so fast 😂 and they were definitely worth the wait to get them on a discount! Moral of the story: good boots come to those who wait!

Now that you know the story behind the boots you can now mentally prepare yourself to see me wearing them in basically every blog post for the rest of the year 😉 I just hope that our weather cools down because it’s still in the 80s over here (hello November…can you hear me? 🎶) which isn’t exactly ideal for boot season! We might just have to take a trip up to Northern Arizona just so I can wear them lol. For the rest of you who actually get to experience a true fall season, I’ve compiled all of my favorite boots to level up your fall/winter wardrobe! As you can tell from my selections (and these pics) I’m a sucker for brown boots vs black and I love a good OTK boot just as much as an ankle bootie. Both serve different purposes IMO, so treat yourself and get multiple pairs! xo
