Hi friends! It’s been awhile since I’ve written a blog post, but I’ve been hard at work building out this new blog design, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you today! I took almost 2 months off from doing weekly blog posts, and it honestly felt so needed. It was so nice to take a step back and re-prioritize what my intentions were for the blog, and to get my creative juices flowing again planning out my new site design. I feel even more energized and excited to continue creating content that I hope inspires you in your daily life!
As I was planning out what I wanted my site to look like, I also started thinking about the categories I had been writing about and if there was anything I wanted to change. If you've been reading my blog since the beginning, you’ll know that it all started as a Disney lifestyle blog, and it stayed that way for a little over a year. I decided to shift the focus of my blog to encompass a more broad fashion and lifestyle category, but my love of Disney certainly hasn't changed! I felt like it was time to “go back to my roots” to re-introduce a “Disney Style” section on my blog where I can share some outfits inspired by some of my favorite characters, as well as photos from our trips to the parks. I also added in a “Real Talk” category that will include posts surrounding health and wellness, personal development, my faith and other life updates. I created new page layouts for each category, which you’ll find in the top navigation bar, and my hope is that it’s now easier to browse past posts and see them all at a glance!
I’ve been writing lots of new content as well in preparation for this re-launch, which I can’t wait to share with you! With the start of the spring season, this felt like the perfect time to share what I’ve been creating behind the scenes, and I’m so thankful you’re here to be a part of it. As always, I love hearing from you and learning about different topics you’d like to see content on, and answering any questions you may have. Those questions help shape future blog posts, so feel free to reach out to me via email or a DM on Instagram! Thank you for continued support, it means more than you know!
